Office Depot Celebrates Grand Re-Opening Donating Sackpacks to Boys & Girls Clubs

OFFICE DEPOT CELEBRATES GRAND RE-OPENING
OF “STORE OF THE FUTURE” IN WEST PALM BEACH ON SEPTEMBER 22

Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Features Local Chamber Representatives and Donations to Nonprofit Organizations

West Palm Beach, FL, September 20, 2016 – Office Depot (NASDAQ: ODP), celebrating 30 years as a leading global provider of office supplies and services, today announced a ribbon-cutting celebration for the grand re-opening of its newly remodeled store in West Palm Beach on Thursday, September 22, at 10:00 a.m. The store, which is located at 101a S. State Road 7, features Office Depot’s exciting new “Store of the Future” format.

During this ceremony, the Office Depot Foundation is donating new children’s sackpacks with essential school supplies to three local nonprofit organizations: Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County; City of Greenacres, Department of Leisure Services; and Communities In Schools Palm Beach County. Each organization also will receive a $100 Office Depot gift card.

In addition, a member of the Board of Governors from The Western Business Alliance, Inc., is delivering welcoming remarks. The event is open to the public.

The newly remodeled store includes a number of enhanced features designed specifically to improve the customer experience. These include a small business concierge – known as the business pro – as well as a best-in-class furniture selection, a full-service copy and print center and in-store technology services.

Store hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This location can be reached by phone at 561-790-4882.

The sackpack donations are part of the award-winning Office Depot Foundation National Backpack Program, through which it donates new sackpacks to deserving children across the United States and beyond.
