President & CEO

Jaene Miranda

Jaene Miranda was appointed President & CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County in August of 2013. Prior to transitioning to non-profit management, Miranda’s career was in corporate marketing which included positions as Regional Marketing Manager for Miller Brewing Company, Director of Marketing for Kraft Bakery Company's Southeast and Vice President of Brand Marketing for Rexall Sundown. In 2006, she was named CEO of the Palms West Chamber of Commerce which, under her leadership, was merged with the Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce to become the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce.

Miranda believes our responsibility at Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County is to help young people create healthy and productive futures for themselves. She understands the importance of developing programs that can assist and encourage young people to persevere and become the next generation of engineers, teachers, artists, and service industry leaders. Her vision is to ensure that every child that walks through the doors of a Club is on track to graduate from high school on time with a plan for the future.

A graduate of the University of Miami, Miranda is a resident of Wellington and has a son Michael and daughter Nicole.

Chief Philanthropy Officer

Mary Katherine "MK" Morales

Mary Katherine "MK" Morales is an accomplished executive and philanthropic strategist with more than 25 years of experience building teams and partnerships that create transformational impact - because when people grow, communities thrive.
As Chief Philanthropy Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, MK leads fundraising and advancement strategy — overseeing transformational gifts, planned giving, professional advisors, family offices, and donors with private family foundations. She partners closely with philanthropists, business leaders, and community stakeholders to expand the resources and opportunities that help children and families thrive across Palm Beach County.
Known for bringing people together around a shared vision, MK has spent her career cultivating strategic relationships, advising donors and families, and developing sustainable strategies that strengthen both organizations and the communities they serve.
MK completed the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) program, is a 21/64 Certified Advisor, and a certified John Maxwell Coach, Speaker, and Corporate Trainer and is passionate about equipping leaders to step into who they are called to be in business.
Outside the office, MK is a devoted wife and mother. She recharges through long-distance cycling, snow skiing, and time near the ocean.

Chief Impact Officer

Pablo Tejada

Pablo Tejada was formerly the Lead Director of Organizational Development for the Metro Department at Boys and Girls Club of America providing leadership and consultation to over 130 organizations for 7 years. Pablo has over 30 years of experience managing youth, family and community development initiatives and was the CEO of the Olivet Boys and Girls Club in Berks County, PA.

He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Binghamton and a his master’s degree in public administration with a specialization in Non-Profit Management from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate school of Public and International Affairs.

Pablo Tejada is happily married for over 22 years to Yvonne and a proud dad of 3 kids Josiah-19, Amalia-15, and Joaquin-12. He is also a club kid and a proud Alum of the Flatbush Boys Club from Brooklyn, NY.

Chief Administrative & Financial Officer

Julie Hedden

Julie Hedden, Chief Administrative & Financial Officer leads multiple teams of dedicated professionals responsible for financial stewardship, human resources, and information technology of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. Julie has worked in the non-profit sector for over 30 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge in non-profit finance, operations, talent management and information technology.

Julie holds a Masters in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University and a BA with a major in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. While working on her Masters, Julie also took on the challenge to acquire her Florida CPA license with great success.

CHIEF Resource DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Shandra Dawkins

A native Floridian with deep ties to the communities she serves, Shandra Dawkins brings more than three decades of senior level experience in nonprofit leadership, organizational development, and community-based services. Her professional background includes leadership of domestic violence shelter programs across multiple states, operation of community health clinics, and extensive experience aligning youth and family serving systems, including community organizations, health care providers, schools, colleges and universities, law enforcement, and courts, into coordinated systems of care that support prevention, stability, and positive outcomes for youth and families.

She is known for her collaborative leadership style, commitment to equity, and deep belief that when young people are supported by strong families and communities, they are empowered to reach their full potential.

VICE PRESIDENT OF PHILANTHROPY

Mary O’Connor

In 1989, O’Connor joined Boys Club of the Palm Beaches as Assistant Director, becoming Florida's first female Executive Director in 1990. Over her 24-year tenure, she expanded the organization from 2 to 13 Clubhouses in underserved areas, raised over $20 million to replace deteriorating Clubs with modern facilities, and boosted youth membership from 700 to nearly 4,000, serving 6,300 annually. She also increased the budget from $650,000 to over $10 million. In 2013, O’Connor became National Vice President of Metro Services at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, serving the largest 100 Clubs nationwide. After retiring in 2020, she returned to Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County as Vice President of Philanthropy. O’Connor and her husband Tim, married for 47 years, have two children, Kevin and Katelyn, daughter-in-law Rachel, and three grandchildren: Charley, Quinn, and Sawyer.

Tim Tracy

Tim has lived in Palm Beach County most of his life and attended King’s Academy for middle and high school. Earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Central Florida with a focus on Marketing and Public Relations. Prior to joining Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, he was a Vice President at the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County for thirteen years overseeing the events department.

Tim joined Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County in 2019 as Vice President of Development & Corporate Relations and manages the Development team that produces all of our fundraising events throughout the county for Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.

VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Erin Nicoloso

Erin, a Palm Beach Gardens native and Cardinal Newman High School graduate, earned her bachelor's degree in Marketing from Southern Methodist University. After returning to Palm Beach Gardens in 2009, she held roles such as Regional Marketing Manager at ShopCore Properties, Special Event and PR Director at The Gardens Mall, and Marketing & Events Coordinator at the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce. Erin's active involvement in local nonprofits led to her recognition, raising over $56,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2014.

As Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, she oversees marketing execution and builds partnerships with local and corporate businesses to enhance Club experiences for children throughout Palm Beach County.

Erin, her husband Will, and their son Mason reside in Palm Beach Gardens, where they enjoy traveling and cheering for Mason in tackle football and travel soccer.

Lotus Holem

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Lotus Holem's career has been marked by a deep commitment to helping at-risk families and children through her work with various agencies. She joined Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County in 2015 and has since taken on several leadership roles within the organization. As the former Director of Programming, she spearheaded the significant expansion of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County's 21st Community Learning Centers, increasing them from 13 to 20 Clubs. Lotus's dedication to enhancing program quality has empowered our staff to seamlessly deliver high-quality programs across all our Clubs.

REGIONAL IMPACT DIRECTOR

Mayra Gomez

Mayra Gomez began her journey with the organization as a Project Director and, through her leadership and unwavering commitment to youth development, rose to her current regional role. A proud native of Belle Glade, Florida—a community known for its rich agricultural roots and underserved youth, Mayra is deeply passionate about giving back to the place that helped shape her into the person she is today. Her work is driven by a personal mission to create opportunity and access for children in communities like her own.

With over 13 years of experience working with children, Mayra's career has spanned from early childhood education, K-8th teaching, and family engagement. She began as a floater in a daycare center, supporting children from infancy through after-school age, and later became a certified teacher, educating preschoolers, English Language Learners (ELL), and middle school students.

Before joining the Boys & Girls Clubs, she worked as a Child Development Specialist for the nonprofit Bridges of Pahokee, empowering parents and children with knowledge of child development and the science of learning.

REGIONAL IMPACT DIRECTOR

Amy Pages

Born and raised in New York, Amy Pages began her career in education as a high school Spanish teacher and department chair of World Languages, later advancing to the role of high school assistant principal. With a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and dual Master’s degrees in Instructional Technology and Educational Leadership, Amy has always been driven by a deep commitment to educational excellence and student academic and personal development.

In 2020, Amy brought her wealth of experience to Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, joining the organization as Project Director of the High School Site Team. Since then, she has continued to shape the future of youth programming by leading key initiatives such as College and Career Readiness and the AmeriCorps program.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Amy is a proud mother to two amazing young men, John and Nicholas. She is also an artist and is deeply engaged in service, all values that continue to inspire her mission to uplift and empower the next generation and the surrounding community.
