“The Boys and Girls Club didn’t just change my life. It saved it.”

Kenneth Mott fondly remembers all of the things he got to do as a member of the Boys and Girls Clubs – play sports, get practice in public speaking – but the most important thing he got to do was, well, to have something to do.

“It gave me a place where I felt like I belonged, and kept me out of trouble and off the streets,” says Mott, 31, a West Palm Beach native who is now a computer designer for Zeidler Partnership Inc., an architectural firm downtown.
