In an effort to help less fortunate families throughout Florida, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County (BGCPBC) teamed up with IHOP under the IHOP Charities umbrella to host “Sneakers for Students” this summer. This community project is designed to collect new/unused sneakers for Club children just in time for the beginning of a new school year.

Our corporate partners at the Dell Software Team hosted an incredible back-to-school bash for the members of the Boys & Girls Club of Boca Raton. Club members enjoyed face painting, obstacle courses, balloons, food, music, games, prizes and tons of fun with the software team. Thank you Dell for making the first week back at school so much fun!
The Mary Alice Fortin Foundation has generously given five families a very happy Christmas in July. The Foundation donated $5,000 (for a grand total of $25,000) to five families in need from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.
Sending students to school with the supplies they need can be expensive for many Palm Beach County families, so employees from the Clerk & Comptroller’s office donated supplies and money to help underprivileged children in the community as they return to school on August 18.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County hosted its Great Futures event in West Palm Beach at the Center Plaza of CityPlace, under the leadership of President & CEO Jaene Miranda.
