Design lovers, it’s time to plan a sunny winter escape. The Kips Bay Decorator Show House is returning to South Florida for its sixth consecutive year, and it will be open to the public for one month beginning Friday, February 24, 2023. The Show House announced today that 3240 North Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach’s Northwood Shores neighborhood will be the location of the upcoming year’s highly anticipated event. The show house not only celebrates top interior design talent but also benefits the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Clubs and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.
“We’re thrilled to return to Palm Beach this February to raise essential funds for the youth in New York City and Palm Beach County,” notes James Druckman, president of the board of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “We’re eager for the design community to come together to celebrate another successful Palm Beach Show House.”
What’s new this year? The show house’s first-ever waterfront locale. The home’s backyard pool and surrounding alfresco entertaining areas offer sweeping views of the intracoastal waterway, which is only a few minutes from the Palm Beach Inlet. The 7,524-square-foot estate is comprised of six bedrooms and six baths. The home honors its South Florida setting with breezy outdoor living areas, like the covered loggia and the oversize second-floor balcony overlooking the water.
A chef’s kitchen, formal dining room, and gracious living room make the show house an entertainer’s paradise. A separate guest suite above the garage, which includes a full kitchen and bath, provides long-term visitors with more privacy. We can’t wait to see how the extraordinary team of top interior designers will transform this Palm Beach estate.
“We are excited to partner again this year with Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club for the sixth annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House,” says Jaene Miranda, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. “Annual events like the Show House allow our Clubs to continue our mission to help as many young people who need us the most to reach their full potential with a plan for their future.”
This upcoming year’s Palm Beach chairs include designers Ellie Cullman and Joy Moyler, along with VERANDA‘s Editor in Chief Steele Marcoux. We can’t wait to learn the lineup of interior design talent in the months to come.
