We’re shining our light on the future of clean energy!
This week, Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County’s STEM program hosted the 2025 Solar Fare at the Marjorie S. Fisher Club. Solar Fare 2025 was a culminating showcase of just how impactful our Club members will be on the future of clean, renewable energy. These Club members completed a 6-week problem-based learning initiative that encouraged them to explore smart climate solutions through sustainable and renewable energy practices.
“It was amazing to see the thought and planning that went into each of their projects,” said Rebecca Haynes, STEM Program Manager.
Participants from seven Clubs across Palm Beach County illuminated their skills in three different categories: solar cookers, solar cars, and energy-inspired artwork. These categories were judged by professionals from Carrier and the top three winners from each category were announced during the awards ceremony. Check out the winners below!
