Here at Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, we’re on a mission to build Great Futures! One of the most impactful ways we achieve this mission is the annual Youth of the Year competition… and we need your support!

Annually, seven teens from Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County’s free-standing Clubs embark on a life-changing journey as they compete for a four-year college scholarship and the Youth of the Year title. During this process, the teens learn how to interview professionally, build their personal brands, and find their voices to determine their futures. This experience truly shapes how these Club members navigate life after they leave Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.

Our staff works tirelessly throughout the entire Youth of the Year process to ensure that all the candidates are fully prepared, however, they cannot do it alone! Because of this, we rely heavily on the support of our community partners to guide our teens on their journey.

This year, we have a variety of opportunities for individuals and businesses to support such an impactful program. From our Annual Youth of the Year Dinner, to mentoring the finalists, your involvement means everything to our candidates! Past candidates created lasting relationships with individuals and organizations involved with Youth of the Year. These relationships are vital to the personal and professional growth of our youth, some even resulting in career opportunities.
