Graduation IS NOT Cancelled for Class of 2020

Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County congratulates our graduating Club members! Even though seniors are unable to walk across the stage to receive their hard-earned diploma, it’s important to remember that graduation has not been canceled. It’s essential that we still commemorate our Club members’ hard work and dedication to achieve this significant accomplishment.

“Graduation is a major milestone for our seniors. A time of celebration, hope, and pride in the fact that they have successfully overcome numerous challenges to make it to this day,” said Valerie Koss, senior career bound director. “Here at Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, we strive to honor our seniors and this major milestone. While in-person celebrations may not occur at this time, our seniors are proving once again that nothing, not even a global pandemic can stand in the way of achieving their goals!”

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, we have the privilege to watch our Club members grow from kindergarteners to graduating seniors. We help our members find their own career paths. We give them a space to dream and to become. For each senior, their path is different.  It may be a post-graduation certificate program or a traditional 4-year university. One thing is the same for all of our seniors: we couldn’t be more proud of you.

Congratulations class of 2020! All of you deserve a big social distancing hug!!
