Faith Church Picks Clubs for Generous Donation

Faith Church made a $15,000 donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County to help with reopening the Clubs for summer camp and to help continue emergency food programs. The check presentation took place at Neil S. Hirsch Family Boys & Girls Club in Wellington which is near Faith Church’s Royal Palm Beach location. The Boys & Girls Clubs were chosen because the congregation wanted to thank the Clubs for all that it does for the community. This summer, around 700 children are able to attend summer camp with thousands more able to take advantage of the offerings of the virtual Club called Boys & Girls Clubs at Home. The Clubs’ emergency food programs have already provided more than 416,000 meals and supplied a week’s worth of groceries to more than 52,000 people.

“With everything going on in the world today we wanted to figure out a way to give back. Our congregation kept mentioning Boys & Girls Clubs as a deserving organization. We are just excited that we can help and say thank you for all that your organization does for our church members and the community, said Florida Executive Pastor Austin Schuler.

Faith Church has two locations in Palm Beach County and several more outside of the state. One Florida location is in Royal Palm Beach and the other is held at Palm Beach Lakes High School. Their biggest outreach, however, is their Sunday TV service that can be viewed on WFLX at 8:30 a.m. and on WPBF at 11 a.m.

“We are extremely thankful for this generous donation! Every dollar that helps us continue our mission during the pandemic has a ripple effect across our community. Partners like Faith Church are critical to ensure Boys & Girls Clubs can continue to impact so many lives when we are needed most,” said Renee Booth, vice president of philanthropy for Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.
