Belle Glade Teen Center members help families get school uniforms

Guadalupe Alcala-Garcia, Yalissa Baltazar and Mya Rodriguez, Belle Glade Teen Center members, were awarded $7,000 to fund their project to help Glades area families acquire school uniforms for their children! “Team Uniformity” successfully pitched their project on Sunday, March 11 at the 3rd annual Palm Beach Philanthropy Tank. The $7,000 commitment came from the philanthropists, one of whom will serve as their mentor during the year while they implement their project.
