Heather Rouffe with Atlas Event Rental transformed Florence De George Club for the annual Thanksgiving feast while teaching Club members how to set a table for the holidays.

Atlas Event Rental surprised nearly 200 Boys & Girls Club members by decorating the Florence De George Boys & Girls Club for a stylish and memorable Thanksgiving feast on Tuesday, November 16.  The experts at Atlas Event Rental also showed Club members how to set their own Thanksgiving table with a hands-on demonstration.

“We are thrilled to be throwing this surprise Thanksgiving party for the deserving children at Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County! Our goal is to have the children walk into their Club and experience that wow moment that our clients feel when they first walk into their events. The kids are going to be blown away by the amazing table settings, beautiful decorations and a delicious Thanksgiving feast,” said Atlas Event Rental Managing Partner and Director of Sales Heather Rouffe. “Atlas loves giving back to the community, especially around the holidays. We want to make sure that this holiday season is extra special for all!”

Club members learned how to set a table for a holiday dinner with table linens, plates, glasses, and silverware provided by Atlas Event Rental. Wellington Florist donated amazing floral centerpieces. Club members also received etiquette lessons to learn when and how to us

e each piece of silverware during a special occasion. Club members used their new etiquette knowledge while enjoying a Thanksgiving feast provided in part by Atlas Event Rental, The Town of Palm Beach United Way and Florence De George Boys & Girls Club Board Members.

“We are incredibly excited to surprise our Club members with this fantastic Thanksgiving party. The surprise amazed our children as this is the stuff that makes magical memories. With the difficulties of the pandemic, we are working extremely hard to make sure the holiday season is special and we could not do it without the support of generous community partners like Atlas Event Rental,” said Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Marketing for Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County Eric Roby.

This was a first-time event for Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County and Atlas Event Rental. Thanksgiving parties are a tradition at the Clubs, but this program promises to make the Thanksgiving Club dinner even more special for Club members. Since 95% of Club members live at or below the federal poverty level, this is likely to be one of the most memorable meals of the season for them.
