The Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County is proud to announce that Kristen Baran has graciously become the title sponsor for its $100,000 Stake Class & Hunt Ball.  It has been renamed The Baran Hunt Ball.  This inaugural event on Friday February 9th at Wellington International’s equestrian ring, will benefit the Neil S. Hirsch Family Boys & Girls Club.

The Baran Hunt Ball will be held under the lights, starting at 6pm and presents an exciting equestrian team format with innovative competitions for significant prize money. The event is Co-Chaired by Georgina Bloomberg and Jenny Oz LeRoy, and will be reminiscent of traditional Hunt Balls with Wellington/ Palm Beach Chic attire encouraged.  The evening will consist of a cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner while the Class takes place. Following the awards ceremony and live auction the evening will conclude with dancing and memorable entertainment.

“It is an absolute honor and privilege to be the title sponsor for this exciting event that will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.  The evening will prove to be entertaining for all as we get the honor of watching these athletes, both horse and riders perform under the lights for the grand prize of $100,000.  Please join us for an incredible competition followed by lots of fun and dancing,” said Kristen Baran.

Each team must consist of a professional, an amateur, and a junior rider.  To be eligible to compete, all horses and riders on any team must have competed in at least one rated hunter division with jumps 3’3” or higher at any competition held during the ESP Holiday Series or the Winter Equestrian Festival.  Riders will be limited to competing on one team only. Each rider on a team must have a designated trainer and designated groom.  The course will consist of a minimum of ten obstacles and will simulate riding over hunt country to demonstrate pace, brilliance, and classic jumping style.  The course will transition between the classic hunter style and handy style.  The prize money is $100,000 and will be split according to the finish of the top twelve teams.

“It is because of the generosity of community leaders like Kristen Baran that we are able to provide life changing programs for the youth of our county.  We expect a fabulous turnout for The Baran Hunt Ball and there are some tickets left for those hoping to not miss out,” said Jaene Miranda, CEO & President of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.
