16th Annual Barefoot on the Beach ads a splash of neon with the addition of the new After Party

Nearly 400 guests celebrated the “unofficial close” to the Palm Beach social season as they turned out for the annual white party – Barefoot on the Beach at The Breakers Palm Beach. The event has become a staple on the society calendar and this year was no exception with co-chairs Susan Miller and Holly Weston on point to present a memorable evening. As guests arrived they received a spirited welcome from members of the Max M. Fisher Boys & Girls Club who tossed out party beads to the guests as they passed through the receiving line. Further on, they were presented with the evening’s signature drink – “Frose” and mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres. Following a sumptuous buffet dinner, guests were wowed with a surprise performance from Club member Keiyon Ivory who moved the crowd with his rendition of How Sweet It Is to Be Loved by You. Founding chairs, Reid Boren and Tom Quick shared the live auction duties, resulting in one of the most successful live auctions in the events history.
