The 14th Annual Holiday Shopping & Breakfast Event was hosted on December 16 by the Boca West Children’s Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, and volunteers from Boca West Country Club.
150 Delray Beach and Boca Raton Club members were provided with $50 to shop for clothing at Old Navy, with volunteers assisting. Younger siblings received $25 gift cards, while absent teens were given $50 gift cards to Old Navy.
Following the shopping spree, a delightful holiday brunch and party took place at Boca West Country Club. Each child selected a toy of their choice and enjoyed entertainment from Magic Jack, DJ Rob Parisi, and PBSO service dogs. Each child was gifted a toy, and they departed with a food basket containing a turkey, ham, fresh vegetables, and all the trimmings for a holiday meal.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) sponsored the event, with a Deputy engaging with the kids, distributing bike safety lights, crayons, and coloring books centered on “Bike Cycle Helmet Safety.”
Preparations for the 15th annual event during the next holiday season have already commenced!
