Each year, Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County celebrates the achievements of our members with the Youth of the Year program. This is the organization’s mission moment and showcases how Clubs across Palm Beach County continue to changes lives by helping young people reach their full potential.

The Youth of the Year program highlights members for their leadership abilities, academic success, and cultivating experiences. Youth of the Year is a national program from Boys & Girls Clubs of America that begins with a local Club level title. Seven outstanding local youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County will compete to be named Palm Beach County’s Youth of the Year at Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa on February 19, 2021, during an emotional and inspiring dinner celebration. The winner will then compete at the state level. All Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County finalists receive a four-year scholarship with the Youth of the Year for Palm Beach County also receiving room and board through the Mary Alice Fortin Foundation.

“Every year, with each group of candidates, we see how these young men and women grow to become leaders and demonstrate their dedication and ambition to represent their Clubs and communities in an outstanding way,” said Jaene Miranda, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. “This year’s finalists are exceptional and represent what Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County can achieve by focusing on the children that need us most in our community.”
