The largest and longest running fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, the 44th Winter Ball Annual Gala, raised a staggering $6.7 million dollars. Held at the Breakers Palm Beach in its Venetian Ballroom, attendees were met by Club members and enjoyed a stunning dinner, live auction, and live band. The 2025 Winter Ball Chairs were Ann Johnson and Sarah Johnson, and its Vice Chair was Andrea Wynn.

This annual gala is one of the highlights of the social calendar in Palm Beach. The proceeds will benefit the overall Club operating expenses and its Hunger

Relief program which serves more than 675,000 meals each year to its Club members at

20 sites located throughout Palm Beach County.

“Once again, we were humbled by the generosity and kindness of our philanthropic community. Not only was the 44th Winter Ball a celebration of our organization’s impact on children and their families, but a night of incredible food, mingling, and dancing. The $6.7 million raised will have a profound impact on the programs that allow us to create a safe place for learning, growing, maturing, and simply having fun,” said Jaene Miranda, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.

Highlights from the Winter Ball included:

· $1 million dollar donations from Ann and Charles Johnson, Steve and Deb Barnes, Lynne Wheat and Thomas Peterffy.

· Over $1.6 million raised through the live auction and the call to heart for its hunger program that provides 675,000 meals each year.

· Over $2 million raised through sponsorships and ticket sales.

“My daughter, Sarah and I are so thankful to be able to chair the Winter Ball Gala benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. I have observed first-hand so many happy children who are given the opportunity to have a successful transition to adult life through this remarkable and deserving organization,” said co-Chair Ann Johnson.

“I am amazed and overwhelmed by the people who run the Boys and Girls Clubs and what they have done to change the lives of so many underprivileged children. They provide a safe place for these kids to go after school when their parents are working or unable to care for them. It is truly an amazing organization, and I commend all the people who make this a reality,” added co-Chair Sarah Johnson.
