The Keystone Club at Great Futures at Forest Hill proudly celebrated Global Youth Service Day from April 20 through April 24 with a week dedicated to promoting service, recognizing student impact, and inspiring more Falcons to get involved in their community. Throughout the week, our Keystone President, Vice President, and Treasurer led morning announcements, sharing student-friendly messages that not only highlighted the importance of giving back but also introduced the Keystone Club and encouraged new members to join.

With the support of school leadership, Mr. Aronson reinforced the message through Khanmingo Question of the Day by incorporating service-themed questions that kept students engaged and thinking about ways they can make a difference. On Friday, students, staff, Great Futures teachers, and Forest Hill administrators showed their support by participating in School Spirit Day, wearing blue and orange in honor of Global Youth Service Day, while Keystone members proudly wore custom shirts they designed and created.

During lunch on Friday, the Keystone Club, in partnership with America and YVC, hosted an interactive table to promote service opportunities, highlight summer programming, and recognize student involvement. Students received brochures, wristbands, and information on how to get involved, and those who showed proof of 100 plus community service hours were celebrated with small prizes.

We are incredibly proud of our Keystone Club members for leading this initiative and creating meaningful opportunities for their peers to serve, connect, and grow. Their leadership continues to reflect the mission of Great Futures and the power of youth making a difference.
