Building Great Futures didn’t stop over Spring Break!

Club members at the Smith & Moore Teen Center participated in a work-based learning experience with industry experts from Project B.U.I.L.D, an organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering local youth through the trades. Members laid the foundation for a future in construction through brick-laying demonstrations, an OSHA talk about the proper use of safety harnesses, and a cable-splicing activity with electrical and lighting professionals.

Thank you to industry experts Aram, Waine, Dan, Kyle, Curtis, Phil and their organizations for their commitment to working with our teens! Partnerships like these are essential to building confidence in our teens and empowering them to explore diverse career paths. This support directly impacts the next generation of Palm Beach County’s workforce!
