Wellington Mall - Pre Prom Event

Prom season is around the corner and as most people know, prom is a very special night and one that will be remembered for years to come! Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County was selected as the benefiting non-profit organization for The Mall At Wellington Green Pre-Prom event. The Wellington Green Mall collected gently used prom dresses for teen Club members in Palm Beach County at an exciting pre-prom event.

“The Mall At Wellington Green is privileged to support an organization that makes a difference in the lives of so many amazing kids,” said Marketing Manager of The Mall At Wellington Green Rachelle Crain. “We believe that prom is a rite of passage for students to celebrate together as they look toward to the future. Hopefully, the prom dresses that were donated will make it possible for more young ladies to take part in this very special evening.”

The event took place on Sunday, February 27 from 3 pm – 5 pm in the Grand Court of The Mall At Wellington Green. Guests enjoyed a fashion show featuring dresses from Macy’s, Dillard’s, Windsor and Andrews Bridal. Live music was provided by electric violinist, DJ Lexey. Guests also enjoyed hair and makeup demonstrations, a 360 photo booth, live performances and swag bags. Starbucks gift cards and entries to win a $250 shopping spree were given to those who donated a prom dress to Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.
