The Palm Beach Royals, one of South Florida’s premier-level Major League Pickleball teams, and Transworld Business Advisors (Transworld), the largest business brokerage in the world, have teamed up with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County to start the Palm Beach Royals Boys & Girls Clubs Youth Pickleball Initiative. This program aims to introduce teenage students to the fastest-growing sport in America.
Presented by Transworld Business Advisors, the initiative will offer monthly clinics led by professional players and staff from the Palm Beach Royals. Teens will receive hands-on instruction, mentorship, and a chance to compete. The program aims to be scalable and sustainable, creating a lasting community sports initiative that increases access to pickleball across Palm Beach County.
The first clinics will serve over 70 teens at Boys & Girls Clubs locations across Palm Beach County, including the Marjorie S. Fisher Boys & Girls Club of West Palm Beach, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delray Beach and Boca Raton, and the Boys & Girls Club of Conniston Middle School. In addition to professional instruction, the initiative will provide each club with donated paddles from Transworld and training resources. This will allow club staff to continue programming after the initial clinics. The program will also set up a competitive pathway, with plans to host an inter-club youth tournament this summer featuring clinic participants.

Pickleball’s accessibility and ease of learning make it an excellent entry point into the world of youth sports. The program will focus on exposure to the game, increased activity, and building confidence, ensuring that teens of all skill levels can join in a welcoming and supportive environment.
