Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County is hosting its annual school supply and backpack drive to benefit Club children and keep them on track for academic success.
The National Retail Federation (NRF) estimated families will spend an average of $685 on needed back-to-school supplies and clothing—an amount many low-income families can’t afford.
Every year, Boys & Girls Clubs works with community partners to send disadvantaged children to school prepared with the supplies they need to succeed.
From now until July 29, members of the community can donate backpacks and school supplies or host a drive in their neighborhood or office. Donations of gift cards to office supply stores or retail vendors are also welcomed and will be used by the Clubs to purchase needed supplies from school-issued lists.
Donations can be dropped off at Boys & Girls of Palm Beach County office:
800 Northpoint Parkway
Suite 204
West Palm Beach, Florida 33407
