We are proud to spotlight Steven Rosen as Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County’s February Volunteer of the Month!

Mr. Steve is an avid volunteer at Boys & Girls Club of Delray Beach where he works with Club members of all ages, but specifically with the teens. Mr. Steve connects with teens on topics such as career advice, financial literacy, and personal development. With his years of professional experience as a public speaker, he encourages these young people to find and use their voices for what they believe in.

Mr. Steve is just as impactful with younger Club members, teaching them everything from music to math! One of his favorite stories from his time volunteering at the Club involves a member struggling to learn fractions. With Mr. Steve’s help, the skills clicked and the Club member felt confident to take on fractions independently!

“I learned a long time ago this isn’t about teaching, it’s about planting seeds that grow and germinate over years,” said Mr. Steve about the impact he has on the Clubs.
