It’s showtime with FAU Theatre Lab!

Last week, members from five Clubs were treated to a special showing of Heebie Jeebies: Tales from the Midnight Campfire. For much of the audience, this was their first time experiencing a live production!

Our Club members were thrilled watching Heebie Jeebies, an immersive and hilarious compilation of scary campfire stories told by the haunting campers of Camp Yaputka. From tales of haunted teddy bears to possessed lab frogs, members cheered, laughed, and even exclaimed in fright throughout the production! What an amazing way to get our Club members into the spooky Halloween spirit this October!

After the show, we pulled back the curtain with the cast and our Club members asked questions about special effects, breaking character on stage, and how each actor pursued a career in performing arts. Some of the actors shared their personal stories about how their passion for performing grew from school plays into a full-time career. Some members of the cast even shed light on how their cultures have impacted the roles they play.

We are so thankful to FAU Theatre Lab for opening their doors to our Club members for a morning of career exploration, inspiration, and FUN! We cannot wait to come back and catch another show soon!
