Every Day Counts!

POSTCARD- Front (EDC)

This school year, we’re making Every Day Count! For our kindergarten through 5th grade Club members, we are encouraging parents and guardians to ensure that their child is attending the Club at least 4 days per week and staying until 6pm. Studies have shown that students regularly participating in quality afterschool programs attend school more often, are more engaged in school, and are more likely to be promoted to the next grade.*

Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County offers a wide variety of programming to enrich our Club members outside of the classroom. From homework help to STEM and Cultural Arts programming, our Club members are empowered to keep learning and expanding their minds while they are not in school. In a 2023 report by the U.S. Department of Education, Florida students in need of improvement attending afterschool programs saw academic and behavioral gains.

It’s not just a great resource for students, studies show that afterschool programs have helped more parents keep their jobs as well as provided these working parents peace of mind knowing that their children are safe.* In addition to academic support, children who attend afterschool programs regularly develop better social skills and lasting friendships.

Our afterschool program is more than homework help, it’s where kids grow emotionally, socially, and academically. Step by step, let’s make Every Day Count!
