Summer Camp at the Clubs is vital to Club members like Amari Edwards. Amari joined the Boys & Girls Club of Boca Raton 3 years ago and instantly became a model member. She enjoys all that the Club has to offer, especially the Cultural Arts programs, which inspired Amari to find her passion for ballet. Through the dance program at the Club, partnerships with Boca Ballet Theatre and guidance from Club staff, Amari was awarded a scholarship from the Boca Ballet Theatre school where she now attends classes every week! Her goal is to one day pursue ballet as a profession and she works tirelessly – both at the Boca Club and in school – to give herself the best opportunity possible to make her dreams a reality.

Our Clubs continue to be a safe space for members to reach their full potential, and the summer is an impactful and pivotal time for thousands of children in Palm Beach County. To support the continued growth and development of Club members like Amari, our 20 Club locations are ramping up their annual summer camp programming with academic tutoring and fun-filled field trips. Nutritious meals are also provided to stimulate brainpower and ensure that no child goes hungry.
