Talent, teamwork, and dedication took center stage as the Divas of Distinction from the John I. Leonard Boys & Girls Club earned first place at the KidsFit Jamathon Dance Competition, hosted by Digital Vibez, Inc.

Under the direction of Jade White, Enrichment Instructor, the Divas of Distinction provide Club members with a space to express themselves through dance while building confidence, teamwork, discipline, and creativity. From cultural dance to a variety of performance styles, the program encourages members to celebrate diversity, explore their talents, and share their passion with audiences at school and throughout the community.

This year, the Divas brought their energy and hard work to the KidsFit Jamathon Dance Competition, where their performance earned them the top honor. The first-place finish reflects the time, commitment, and teamwork the members have dedicated to growing together as performers and as a team.

Their success was met with even more exciting news. Digital Vibez, Inc. awarded the Divas of Distinction a grant to support the program’s continued growth. The funding will help provide uniforms, costumes, dance accessories, transportation, and other resources that allow Club members to participate in future performances and opportunities.

For the Divas, however, the program is about much more than trophies and performances. It is about creating a place where girls feel supported, express themselves, celebrate their cultures, and discover what they can accomplish when they work together.

Programs like Divas of Distinction reflect the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County to provide young people with opportunities to discover their passions, build meaningful relationships and develop the confidence they need to reach their full potential.

Congratulations to the Divas of Distinction on this incredible achievement, and thank you to Digital Vibez, Inc. for investing in their continued success. We can’t wait to see where the Divas dance next!
