Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County’s 3rd Annual Cocktails for the Club event raised a record-breaking $190,000 for Boys & Girls Club of Delray Beach’s Hunger Relief Program. Proceeds benefit the critical Hunger Relief Program at the Delray Beach Club and ensure 100,000 nutritious meals will continue to be distributed to children in the Delray Beach community.

“We are so excited to have been able to host this special event in person, and we are proud it was such a success,” said co-chair Virginia Costa. “All were excited to see their friends after so long and to support an organization that is near and dear to their hearts. We were also happy to have met new friends of the organization and have them see what the Club does for our community children.”

The holiday-themed event occurred at the newly renovated Little Club in Gulf Stream, Fla. Over 200 guests enjoyed signature holiday cocktails sponsored by Jennifer & Brian Coulter and Missy & Joe Walsh, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and gourmet food stations. A professional pianist played classical tunes to carry on the evening. Casino Party Nights Florida, Inc. provided casino specialty games and various raffle prizes added to the night’s excitement. Putting games were also available to play, and guests received bottles of wine provided by Vineyard Brands for every hole-in-one. Custom wreaths created for guests went home to the highest bidders.

“We are grateful for the increased support of our Delray Beach Club at the recent Cocktails for the Club event,” said President and CEO for Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County Jaene Miranda. “Without strong community support, the Delray Beach Club would not be able to supply healthy meals that our Club members depend upon.”
