It was another impactful afternoon of connection and financial literacy between teens at the Delray Beach Club and professionals, Ms. Michele and Ms. Kimberly, from the local EverBank branch! The teens learned Budgeting Basics and drew parallels between this lesson and their weekly Money Matters curriculum taught by Career Bound Manager, Mr. Anthony.

Club members gained new insights on how to approach spending, saving, and planning their finances, no matter how much or how little money is involved. It is essential that these young people learn healthy financial habits at this pivotal age, leading to smart decision-making throughout their lives.

The afternoon wrapped up with a friendly game of budgeting trivia. During the game, participants chose from multiple choice answers, estimated statistics over time, and added their personal flair to financial situations. This activity reinforced the financial literacy skills previously discussed, where all members left with a new understanding of how to manage their funds.
