Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County will be opened Thursday, September 14 and Friday, September 15 from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. for its members as well as nonmember children ages 6 – 18.

Parents of nonmember children will need to fill out a simple form and show government-issued identification during drop off and pick up. There will not be a fee for nonmembers.

“We want to make sure parents and caregivers can return to work after Hurricane Irma with the peace of mind that their children have a safe place to go with adult supervision and electricity,” said Jaene Miranda, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. “Lunch will be served to all children in attendance at the Clubs.”

Boys & Girls Clubs located in the Glades area will remain closed due to lack of power. Parents in the Glades area may bring their children to the Neil S. Hirsch Boys & Girls Club of Wellington.

All Clubs will resume their regular schedules for members only on Monday, September 18 if Palm Beach County Schools are opened.
