The Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County marked a remarkable milestone with the 25th Anniversary of Barefoot on the Beach, held at the iconic Beach Club in Palm Beach. Serving as the grand finale of the Palm Beach social season, the sold-out celebration welcomed more than 350 guests, all elegantly dressed in white, for an unforgettable evening along the oceanfront. The event raised an impressive $650,000 to support local youth served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.
Guests were greeted with handcrafted cocktails just steps from the shoreline before transitioning into an evening of dining and dancing under the stars, capturing the spirit, energy, and enduring legacy of one of the area’s most anticipated philanthropic traditions. A highlight of the evening, the heartfelt “Call to the Heart,” will directly fund summer camp experiences for Club members, providing a safe, enriching environment during the critical summer months when school is out.
“For 25 years, Barefoot on the Beach has brought our community together in a powerful way—blending generosity, tradition, and purpose,” said Jaene Miranda, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. “The impact of this evening extends far beyond the shore, creating life-changing opportunities for the young people we serve.”
The 25th anniversary event was chaired by Gregory Connors, Craig Gibson, Jr., Kate Lubin & Glen Sutton, Lauren Marcarelli, and Camille & Charles Schumacher, Jr. Founding chairs include Reid Boren, Thomas C. Quick, Wally Turner, and Taylor & Kayla Collins. Junior Chairs for the evening were Alex Hammer, Whitney Schott, and Hannah Selleck.
