Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County Celebrates a Sun-Soaked Sendoff to the Season at 23rd Annual Barefoot on the Beach
The season ended in effortless elegance as more than 300 guests gathered under swaying palms and starlit skies for Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County’s highly anticipated 24th Annual Barefoot on the Beach. Held at The Beach Club in Palm Beach, the event raised vital funds to support summer camp scholarships and year-round academic and athletic programming for thousands of local youth.
Inspired by the laid-back luxury of Eden Rock/St. Barths, this year’s theme transformed the beach into a chic Caribbean escape. Guests arrived dressed in crisp white attire, greeted by the sounds of island beats and the glow of twinkle lights as waves lapped nearby.
Co-chaired by Greg Connors, Craig Gibson, Jr., Kate Lubin & Glen Sutton, and Camille & Charles Schumacher, Jr., the evening featured a spirited silent auction, a heartfelt Call to the Heart, and a moving speech from Palm Beach County’s Youth of the Year, Phildensy Jean, whose inspiring story illustrated the profound impact of the Clubs.
Between sips of champagne and dancing barefoot on the beach, attendees explored pop-up boutiques nestled among VIP cabanas, with proceeds generously donated back to support the Clubs’ mission.
