Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County’s 34th Annual Gala “Spring Fling” Kicks Off

Palm Beach, Fla. (January 8, 2015) – Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County’s 34th Annual Gala kicked off on Thursday, January 8th at the beautiful home of Lesly Smith. Gala Chairwoman, Danielle Hickox Moore hosted this pre-event to honor the annual Gala’s past and present sponsors. This year, Moore is joined by Honorary Chairmen Mary Freitas, Eddy Taylor and Tom Quick.

More than 65 guests joined together at the home of Lesly Smith to mix, mingle and enjoy delicious food from Buccan. Among those enjoying the evening were Eddy Taylor, Tom Quick, Betsy & Wally Turner, Jim & Judy Harpel, Charles & Alison Sieving, Robert & Debbie Dunkin, Mark & Sonja Stevens, Peter & Julie Cummings, Mike & Ashley Ramos, Keith Williams, Brooks Bishop, Pauline Pitt, Reid & Michelle Boren, Thomas & Carol Kirchhoff and many more! This cocktail party is just the first of the festivities prior to this year’s annual gala. The Spring Fling will take place on Friday, March 13th at The Breakers. The evening will start with cocktails in the Mediterranean Ballroom and will move on to a spring dream in the Venetian ballroom. Guests will dance the night away to the always fabulous, Marcia Mitchell Band.

Proceeds from the Spring Fling will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, which has 13 sites located in the County.  The Clubs provide services during non-school hours, as well as summer camp opportunities, to more than 6,000 boys and girls from ages 6 to 18.
