Each year, Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County celebrates the achievements of our members with the Youth of the Year program. This is the organization’s mission moment and showcases how Clubs across Palm Beach County continue to changes lives by helping young people reach their full potential.
The Youth of the Year program highlights members that embody the values of leadership and service, academic excellence, and healthy lifestyles. Youth of the Year is a national program from Boys & Girls Clubs of America that begins with a local Club level title. Seven outstanding local youth from Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County will compete to be named Palm Beach County’s Youth of the Year at The Hilton West Palm on February 3, 2023, during an emotional and inspiring dinner celebration. The winner will then compete at the state level. All Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County finalists receive a four-year scholarship with the Youth of the Year for Palm Beach County also receiving room and board through the Mary Alice Fortin Foundation.
“This event is our mission moment, and it’s always exciting to introduce our finalists,” said President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County Jaene Miranda. “Our team looks forward to working with these extraordinary teens, leading up to the event to ensure that they are prepared for one of the biggest nights of their lives. Each finalist brings something special to the table, and the decision won’t be easy. However, every finalist is a winner, and we look forward to hearing their unique stories at our 9th Annual Youth of the Year Dinner.”
