Club Staff Updates & Promotions

Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County is thrilled to announce multiple different promotions within the Clubs. These employees have shown their dedication and outstanding work ethic in creating a safe and fun after-school environment for the children of Delray Beach, Marjorie S. Fisher, and Max Fisher Boys & Girls Clubs.

 

Terrance Johnson, former Executive Club Director, began his new role as 21st Century Program Manager on September 26. Previously, Terrance worked in the school district of Palm Beach County for 14 years as a Teacher, Football Coach, Girls Basketball Coach, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal. Terrance decided to make a career change but still wanted to continue to work with the youth. He joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County team about a year ago and has made it his goal from day one to work hard each and every day, make a positive impact on those whom he comes in contact with, and prepare himself for advancement within the Boys & Girls Clubs Organization. “The first time in my life of being accused of loving my job was after I began working for Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County,” Terrance stated.

 

Miles Davis, former Lead Career Bound Manager, recently moved into his new role as Executive Club Director of The Marjorie S. Fisher Club. Miles is a graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a former Boys & Girls Club member. For the past 7 years he has worked in the health and non-profit field providing human services and assisting those in need. Miles states, “I have dedicated my time, energy, and devotion to ensure each person I come in contact with are enlightened and have a positive experience.” Before joining the Boys & Girls Clubs organization, Miles was  Program Manager for the Urban League of Palm Beach County. Miles has been with Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County for 2 years now.

 

Toni Spence,  former Assistant Club Director, is now the Executive Club Director at The Max Fisher Club. Toni was born and raised in West Palm Beach and was once a Club member in the early 2000’s. Starting with Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County in 2018 as a Program Assistant, Toni then held multiple different positions within the organization and is now in her goal position of Executive Club Director. With her love of anything creative musical arts and her passion for giving the youth the confidence and spotlight, she encourages the Club members to sing, dance, act, and speak publicly to the masses. “Even when members were shy, I had to help them dig deep within themselves to find their inner glow to present to the world,” Toni said.  “I always had the heart and passion to mentor and motivate the youth, I truly learned how to make Boys & Girls Clubs a fun and safe place for our kids in the community.”
