Kids in Class

The 2022 Summer COVID-19 Academic Recovery Program is having an impact on Palm Beach County families. The program is designed to provide thirty students from families with low to moderate-income a ten-week summer camp experience.  During camp five weeks of academic instruction is incorporated from certified teachers to promote continued learning over the summer and assist students who may have fallen behind academically as a result of the annual summer slide or even the Covid-19 pandemic. The program simultaneously provides parents/caregivers with a safe place to send their children for a full-day summer program while allowing parents/caregivers to maintain employment during the summer months.
