Chef vs. Chef Bracket Announced
Summer long chef competition sponsored by Max’s Harvest
Delray Beach, Fla. (June 12, 2015)—The bracket for the summer-long Chef vs. Chef competition was announced during a recent draw party attended by South Florida’s top chefs. The bracket-style competition kicks off on Wednesday, June 17 and will be held each Wednesday evening at 9:30 p.m. at Max’s Harvest, 169 Northeast 2nd Avenue, Delray Beach. Fashioned after the popular TV show “Knife Fights,” the showdown will continue for 15 weeks until one chef is crowned the winner.
Each of the 16 chefs will be given three secret ingredients, which will be used to prepare two to three dishes within an hour. Qualified members of the culinary media and foodie community will judge the Chef vs. Chef competitions, awarding weekly prizes and a grand prize to the winner. Dennis Max of the Max Group, Bill Hansen of Bill Hansen Catering and Jan Norris of Florida Food and Farm will serve as the three judges for the first competition.

All Chef vs. Chef events are open to the public for a $10 donation, which will include one complimentary, beer, wine or cocktail. Food and drink will be available for purchase at happy hour prices. Chef vs. Chef will benefit the Naoma Donnelley Haggin Boys & Girls Club in Delray Beach.
